Volunteer

Volunteers play a central role in the success of our work so please join us to engage in this rewarding volunteer experience. We need volunteers to:

• Tutor 3-5th grade students (Community members of all ages), usually twice a week
• Tutor 6-8th grade students (College-age and young adults), usually 1-2x per week
• Tutor high school students (College-age and young adults), as needed
• Assist with social media
• Create a Speaker’s Bureau of community members who can engage and inspire middle school students about their own journey.
• Serve on a Board Committee, either Fundraising or Programs. Each committee meets once a month for one hour and members usually do an hour’s research between meetings. The Fundraising Committee works on grants, outreach, and events. The Programs Committee discusses and evaluates the programs we are offering our Scholars and graduates and suggests and develops new programs.
• Serve on the Board. Our Board of Directors governs Students to Scholars. A strong roster of Board Members is essential to our continued growth.
